The Oak Park Arms is an independent and assisted living rental retirement community located in Cook county’s historic Oak Park, Illinois, just minutes from downtown Chicago.
Independent living at the Oak Park Arms provides seniors with freedom, choices and security. The Arms offers amenities such as housekeeping, linen service and 24-hour concierge service to help our residents live a stress-free life of convenience.
Assisted living options provide seniors with freedom and independence while receiving care in the privacy and comfort of their own apartment. Delicious meals and a lively activity schedule complement the attentive 24-hour care staff, case management, and homecare therapy services.
The Oak Park Arms holds a great number of events and activities for seniors each day. Many events are open to the public creating an inter-generational group of participants. On site activities include top-notch musicians and entertainers, award-winning authors and artists, local elected officials, and healthcare experts to name a few. Beyond the Arms’ doors, residents enjoy concerts, plays, sporting events, casinos and other fun destinations.

Moses Williams, Executive Director, joined the Oak Park Arms in 1993. Since that time he has held positions as the night auditor, the front desk manager, and accountant. His natural leadership ability, personal drive and caring nature enabled him to lead the Oak Park Arms. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Healthcare Leadership and a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Lewis University. In addition, Williams is in the process of completing an MBA in Healthcare Administration.

Jill Wagner, Director of Marketing, joined the Oak Park Arms in 2005 and orchestrates the internal marketing operations for the Arms. She conducts tours with families and seniors and coordinates with the team to ensure a quality and smooth transition for seniors moving into the Arms. Jill focuses on great customer service and creating a positive environment and experience for guests who visit the Arms.
Jill has worked with individuals with special needs in the community at the Neumann Association and Misericordia in Chicago and holds a Bachelor of Science in Anthropology from Loyola University.
Teddy Jay, Leasing Coordinator, has been with the Oak Park Arms since February of 2006. Prior to working at the Arms, he was a social worker helping families in crisis, special needs children, and adults with disabilities. Teddy holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Western Michigan University

Desi Vasquez, Social Director, joined the Oak Park Arms in 2006 as the Social Director. She develops and runs a wide variety of stimulating programs for reseidents of the Arms. Many of the events are free and open to the public. Desi holds a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature/ Theatre from Milton College in Milton WI and is a member of the Oak Park Art League. She is a member of the Student’s League in New York City, the Screen Actors Guilde, and she has trained at the Art Institute of Chicago. Her large scale paintings have been shown in New York, Boston and Chicago.
