Teen Reader’s Theatre Troop
The Teen Reader’s Theatre Troop from the Oak Park Public Library will perform at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 24, at the Oak Park Arms, 408 S. Oak Park Ave.
Kids from the Teen Reader’s Theatre group will present readings for residents and the public. Classic literature is adapted, and dramatic readings will be performed.
Through the group, the children deliver free performances for local community groups. This program is perfectly suited for teenagers who love books and acting and meets every Wednesday afternoon from June through July.
The Oak Park Arms is a rental retirement community which provides independent and assisted living apartments and a full schedule of activities and services. Furnished apartments are also available for a short-term stay – a weekend, a week, a month or longer.
The event is free and open to the public. Call Jill Wagner at 708-386-4040.
